museum in France. From the Carnac coastline
to the Land of Lanvaux, these gigantic stone
monuments are the last witnesses of an extinct
civilization.

Golfe du Morbihan

can compare with the Gulf of Morbihan,
with its labyrinth of 40 islands and inlets.
At the heart of the Gulf is the medieval
walled city of Vannes, with its splendid
gardens and the old wash houses skirting
the walls and the many half timbered
houses within.

Lorient

Josselin

Other places of interest to visit are the Towns of Josselin, Lorient and Rochefort-en-Terre, all with their ‘Market Days’, festivals and pretty floral displays throughout the summer months, qre not to be missed.

Quiberon

Quiberon is a tongue of land immersed in the ocean, joined to the mainland by a ‘causeway’.  One can measure the fragility of this fine link while passing close to the Fort of Penthièvre. At the tip of Quiberon ones sight is drawn to the island of Belle île, and also to the agressive beauty of the Côte Sauvage (the Wild Coast).
